The Ugly Duckling retold by Rachella the Storyteller
The Ugly Duckling tells the tale of a young bird, rejected by others for looking different. Teased and excluded, he spends a difficult winter alone. In the spring, he sees a beautiful swan in the lake and realizes, that he has grown into one himself.
The story ends with acceptance, self-discovery, and pride in who he has become, as well as a reminder to never judge a book by its cover!
